If your company uses Admin on Demand through Self-Service, you can temporarily convert your account to admin status. Follow these steps to gain admin access:
Open Self-Service
Go to Finder > Applications > Self-Service.
Request Admin Access
Click Admin on Demand in the left-hand column.
Select Request Admin Now.
Use Your Own Credentials
Once requested, you should be able to enter your username and password to approve updates or installations.
