Duo is now being introduced as your primary multi-factor authentication method.
This will protect all of your Microsoft 365 services, such as Outlook and Sharepoint.
Please follow the steps below to enrol into Duo and start securing your Microsoft account.
1. Head to Microsoft online and sign in with your work email account.
2. You will then be taken to a Duo enrolment page
3. Click 'Next' to go through to the setup.
4. You will reach a page where you will be given an option of 2FA methods. Select Duo Mobile
5. Once you have selected Duo Mobile you will see the following prompts.
Note: If you do not have Duo Mobile already installed you will be given the option to download it at enrolment. Once installed, you can choose to either enter your mobile phone number, or select 'I have a tablet' which will present a QR code for you to scan within the Duo Mobile app, as shown below.
6. Once you have added your account to Duo Mobile, you will be able to log in with your chosen method.
7. If you selected Duo Mobile as your authentication method, you will be shown a 4 digit code which you will need to input into the Duo Mobile app. You will then be asked to provide extra biometrics verification.
8. Once the code has been entered and verified, you will be taken back to the Microsoft sign in page when you can access company resources securely!
