Install Cloudflare One

💡 This guide is all about installing the Cloudflare One client (formerly WARP) on your Mac, PC or Linux computer and registering the app to your organisation using Okta.

The Cloudflare One client may be branded as Cloudflare Warp client in places.

Estimated time to complete: 5 minutes

Windows

  1. The Cloudflare One installer can be downloaded in two ways depending on your circumstances:

    1. If you're using a personally owned PC find the installer by visiting https://1.1.1.1/ and choosing the Windows installer.

    2. If you have a company owned Windows PC, open Company Portal (open Start Menu and type Company Portal to locate and launch it) on your Windows PC and choose to install the Cloudflare One client.

  2. Launch the Cloudflare One app.

  3. Select the Cloudflare logo in the menu bar.

  4. Go to Profile > Login.

    1. Select Cloudflare One Client and click Continue.

  5. Enter your team name which will have been provided to you separately. (If you're not sure, please ask your manager or LeftBrain for help!)

  6. Complete the authentication with Okta

  7. Once authenticated, you will see a Success page and a dialog prompting you to open WARP.

  8. Select Open Cloudflare WARP to complete the registration.

Finished. You nailed it! 🙌🏻

macOS

  1. The Cloudflare WARP installer can be downloaded in two ways depending on your circumstances:

    1. If you're using a personally owned Mac find the installer by visiting https://1.1.1.1/ and choosing the macOS option.

    2. If you have a company owned Mac, open Self-Service app on your Mac (find it in your Applications folder) and choose to install the Cloudflare One client.

  2. Launch the Cloudflare One app.

  3. Select the Cloudflare logo in the menu bar.

  4. Go to Profile > Login.

    1. Select Cloudflare One Client and click Continue.

  5. Enter your team name which will have been provided to you separately (If you're not sure, please ask your manager or LeftBrain for help!)

  6. Complete the authentication with Okta

  7. Once authenticated, you will see a Success page and a dialog prompting you to open WARP.

  8. Select Open Cloudflare WARP to complete the registration.

That's it! All done. 👍🏻

Linux

Grab the installer by visiting https://1.1.1.1/ or install via the CLI by following these steps: https://developers.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-one/team-and-resources/devices/cloudflare-one-client/deployment/manual-deployment/#enroll-using-the-cli

For example, if your team name was acmecorp - the command you should run would look like this: 

warp-cli registration new acmecorp

You will be prompted to authenticate with Okta during the account registration process.
